Based in Powder Springs, Silver Street Transportation is a rapidly growing for-profit non-emergency medical transportation company proudly serving the local and long-distance transportation needs throughout Cobb, Douglas, Cherokee, and Paulding Counties.
Silver Street was founded by a hardworking husband and wife team, Cameron and Latasha Bryant. With over 30 years experience in the transportation and logistics industry and in being TRIP-certified by Cobb County Department of Transportation, Cameron is well experienced in vehicle operation and fleet management. Latasha, a former special-needs bus driver of more than 10 years, also maintains a commercial driver’s license.
However, it wasn’t until a family member became plagued with health conditions that required assisted transportation that Cameron and Latasha realized how underserved seniors are for a host of support services. In witnessing their loved one wait excessively for trips to and from medical appointments, Cameron and Latasha became inspired to create a more effective and reliable senior transportation solution.
Inspired by the spirit and caring legacy of their loved one, Cameron and Latasha launched Silver Street Transportation in 2017 and have since completed thousands of transports. Unlike other services operating as a curb-to-curb service, Silver Street will safely escort you or your loved one from your residence or facility to a clean, comfortable, and ADA compliant vehicle. On arrival at your destination, Silver Street’s trained staff will escort you to check-in.

We are continuously striving to implement effective strategies for enhanced training, integrated technologies, and managerial support and communication. Because we provide local and long distance transportation, effective planning and communication between dispatch and key facilities is paramount.
We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.
Dispatchers will receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:
- Customer intake
- Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
- Effective driver management and scheduling
- Trip management and oversight
- Coordination with facility personnel
